Southwest Airlines has announced the establishment of a Global Innovation Centre in Hyderabad, marking a significant milestone in its international expansion strategy.
The centre will focus on airline operations, technology development, data analytics, and innovation, leveraging Hyderabad’s strong IT ecosystem and deep talent pool. Southwest Airlines has secured 20,000 sq ft of premium office space at Salarpuria Sattva Knowledge City in Raidurg along the HITEC City corridor.
This move reinforces Hyderabad’s position as a preferred destination for Global Capability Centres (GCCs), particularly for aviation, data-driven operations, and enterprise technology hosting a wide range of global corporations, including Microsoft, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, Novartis, Gartner, and JP Morgan Chase.
